How SWCAA uses your answers: read the privacy notice
The Southwest Clean Air Agency (SWCAA) runs the Woodsmoke Reduction Program. Northwest Media Collective, SWCAA’s advertising contractor, runs this page for SWCAA.
What the form collects and why: the form asks for your county and how you heat your home. If you’d like SWCAA to contact you, it also asks for your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and property address, so SWCAA can follow up with you about the program. The form also records which ad or link brought you to the page, so Northwest Media Collective can see which ads bring people to the program. The form is optional; you can apply on your county’s page on swcleanair.gov without it.
Who sees it: SWCAA’s program staff and the Northwest Media Collective staff who run this page see what you submit. A web host stores the completed forms, and an email service delivers each request for contact to SWCAA. SWCAA and Northwest Media Collective do not sell what you submit or use it for anything else.
The Meta pixel: this page uses the Meta pixel, code from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to count visits and completed forms so SWCAA can see how well its ads work. The pixel uses cookies and sends Meta your IP address, browser details, and which page you visited, and Meta may link that to a Facebook or Instagram account. It sends none of your answers or contact details. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Public records: what you submit goes to SWCAA, where it becomes a public record under Washington’s Public Records Act (chapter 42.56 RCW), and SWCAA may have to release it if someone requests it.
How long it is kept: SWCAA keeps its copy under Washington’s records retention schedules. Northwest Media Collective deletes its copy within 30 days after it delivers the campaign’s final report to SWCAA.
Questions: email duane@swcleanair.gov or call SWCAA at 360-574-3058.
